Willowbrand Jasper
(Gallod Michael ap Tomas x Heatherbrook Penny)
  • Registered 3/4 Welsh Sooty Buckskin Gelding.
  • 10 years old.
Looking for a step up pony jumper for a kid who loves a little bit of zing? Gentleman on the ground, all heart and big step under saddle.
He has enough heart and step for a confident rider to take you into the .90m and has been successfully shown to .90m. He has always been in the ribbons in the lower heights, won reserve champ 2’3” at Amberlea in his first year of showing, 6th place in a 20+ horse class in his first 2’9”. He has shown multiple of the welsh shows, coming out with multiple 1sts and always in the placings. He is a sharp flashy mover with the right rider. Big elastic trot. His flying leads are 90% solid, good basic lateral work. He’s schooled to 1.10m. He quite enjoys trail riding, been out on a few fun rides through endurance. Been to a Peter grey clinic at Mane event. Rockstar to take to shows, quiet to tie, stall, handle, farrier etc. He can be a bit head shy with clipping, will need you to take your time. We have suspected he was ear twitched in the past. Positive reinforcement works great. Self loads into the trailer- stock, 2 horse, he doesn’t care. If you are looking for a sharp, savvy, honest pony- he’s the little engine that could! $18,900

2017 he did a clinic with Peter Gray at Mane Event, 2016 Paula Kierkegaard.

Spruce Meadows 2018, all clear rounds out of his 6 classes for the week. 1st on leader board in clear round, 1st & 2nd in 2'6 jumper out of 35. May Classic 2- Placed 5th and 6 in the .90m.

Will do lease to own (on-site) or payment plan pending PPE. $18,500

Video:
2016 Whitemud- 1st place 2'6"
2017 Westerner- 3rd place Hunter Eq over fences 2'6" out of about 7 or 8 riders.
2017 Westerner 6th place 2'9"
2018 Spruce Meadows/Ponoka- .80m-.90m

Lucy *Dance Me Loose* is an 8 year old Standardbred mare, standing about 16 hh. Fantastic mind on this horse, has a wonderful work ethic, sensitive and loves to please. She has some track quirks, such as sucking her tongue. Very honest mare. Bends, transitions, trot has come a long ways and picking up canter better all the time. Ridden by beginners and very good with them, takes care of them. She has cryo spots on her left front and top of her hocks from older injuries.
Track career, she won over $50,000, racing for 3 years. 19 wins, 11 2nds, 8- 3rds. A total of 83 starts. Will only be sold to a proven home. $2000 firm

She has been sold to an amazing home in Lloydminster... best wishes to Christina!!

Little Red Robinwood, 2 yo AQHA filly, rescued from meat. Lovely mare, sassy temperment, going to be a great working horse. Sold to a home where she has now been lightly started under saddle. She has groundwork here and had been saddled, leaned over while here.

Kasmir, 3 yo Appy pony. Had taken him to keep him from auction, super sweet little gelding. Found an owner looking for something to work on as a kids horse.

Desire For Power A.K.A Stella - SOLD

Picture
Stella is a coming 4 year old ex-pacer. She was let go from the track because she is a roaring 16.1hh and growing too fast. They didn't want her to break down. To my knowledge, she didn't love racing. This is a fun mare to work with, a few challenging personality traits but getting to be good on the ground and a smart mare to work with. She loves to be around people and is genuinely interested. Just started under saddle and beautiful trot to her. Forward and fun. $2500

Sold To her new home!! Best of wishes.

JM Khia Maria
(JM Kharizma x EK Bint Desiree)
9 year old 3/4 Arabian Bay Mare.
Reg #2A05630 CPAR. Rahcountoro +++ grand-daughter.  Sweepstakes Nominated.

Flame ~ 2007 ~ Sold! Congrats to Tracy :)

This guy is a great little horse, he is perfect for the lesson kids because of his quiet disposition yet can step it up for a more experienced rider. He's a good teacher, steady is as steady does. Flame also has a lofty canter to die for. He has been shown western pleasure once, took him out to his first show last year and he did wonderfully. Placed in the ribbons in all his classes, around 4 or 5 in a class of 12.

Minx (May 1 2012- June 2013)

Picture
October 2013:: Minx has sold! She has found a wonderful family who will continue her recovery and very cool, a home familiar with Josh Nichols (very!) and a 7 year old girl to love her. Its disheartening for me to see her go as I was very attached to her, but it is a perfect home for her. She has now gotten almost full movement back in her ear and blink. Her mouth is still coming. We are excited for the future she has with her new girl <3
Update:: Unfortunately, due to a freak accident rolling into a fence, she has been pulled from training for now while we work on rehabilitating her. There is considerable nerve damage to the left side of her face. She is incredibly to have survived and we thank West Winds for their care.

RILLS SILVER MINX
2008 mare, very well started. 13.3 H apprx. Teeth have been floated, farrier, deworming UTD. She is registered and purebred. She is a nice pony and requires a sensitive capable rider. Would do excel for a confident, more experienced child in a lesson program. She can be hard to catch but will come to you in a small pen. Walk/trot/canter, Walk to Canter, trail rides on a loose rein, lateral work lightly started before time off in the fall, low fences, etc. Free jumped 3', easily clears with air. She excels on the trail alone or with other horses, nothing phases her, won't even bat an eye at vehicles. Has been started over fences to 2'9" with the scope and willingness to go higher, she LOVES it! Will be shown this year until sold, open jumpers and dressage. Loads/trailers well, good for farrier and clipping. $5000

If anybody expects to calm a horse down by tiring him out with riding swiftly and far, his supposition is the reverse of the truth.
