2022 Camp Date

CR Horsemanship, partnered with Mystic Meadows, is proud to offer a limited number of half and full day summer camps. We welcome everyone 6 ages+ for the half day camps and each summer run a Teens Horsemanship Camp (Ages 10-16) that has been an absolute hit each year. 

We allow for no more than 8-12 riders at any given time, split into two groups throughout the day based on experience and skill level. The first group rides while the other does theory and crafts, swapping later in the day. Full day camps run from 8-3 each day. Half day camps run from 8:30 to 12:30 with a max of 6-8 riders. 

All riders must bring a pair of rubber boots, running shoes, change of clothes and own lunch. A limited number of riding helmets may be available for rental, otherwise ATSM certified riding helmets can be purchased from any tack store.

Horsemanship Teens Camp (10-16)
A barn favourite to run! The horsemanship camp is jam-packed full of fun and information - with a wide variety over the course of 5 days, the kids get to pick from options of trying jumping, western, dressage (riding a test), bareback, gymkhana/games day, liberty. Theory is both hands on and a personal journal to take home. On the last day, we often host a small demo for the parents to be able to watch the multitude of skills your child has enjoyed playing with over the course of camp. There is also options for this particular camp to bring and stable your own horse to use, dependent on prebooking and pen availability. Horse must be current on vaccines and coggins to attend.

Beginner Youth Camps- No experience necessary.

Youth Half Day Camps (ages 5-9)

These half day camps are best suited for beginner youth with no horse experience but that wish to get a taste of riding! Riders will do a riding lesson, some theory and a craft or game each day throughout the week.
